Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors

We would now like to introduce our new Student Ambassadors. They would love to hear from you with anything from questions about exams ❓ to ideas for events 💡!

Barts – Louis Lederman

Hey, what’s up? Hello, I’m Louis a 2nd year Medical Student at Barts.

I’m so happy to be student Ambassador and I’m excited to see what this year will bring.

Before departing on my voyage to life long learning I spent my school career at Immanuel before spending a year in Israel at yeshiva.

Med school can be daunting and everyone gets in situations where they need someone to talk to so if there is ever anything that you need – I will be there to help and advise … or delegate.

Wishing everybody all the best for this year, and hope to see you all soon!

Leeds– David Maskill

I’m a final year medical student at Leeds, hailing from Manchester, which is like Leeds but the rain is of poorer quality.

I enjoy keyboards/synths, sailing and fossil hunting.  I also enjoy making the newbies feel welcome, so am excited to be the Leeds ambassador for the sJMA!

Let’s make this a good year.

Manchester – Michal Blank

Hi, I’m Michal Blank. I’m a fourth year medical student at the University of Manchester. As well as medicine I love to draw and paint, or spend a day exploring the Peak District.

I’m really excited to be the new student ambassador for Manchester, and look forward to helping you all get the best help and experience from the sJMA!

Catch you all at the next scrubs pub crawl!

Imperial – Eli Goldin

Hi, I’m Eli and I’m currently a 3rd year student at Imperial

I spent my formative years at Menorah Grammar school and then Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh before returning to study medicine.

Aside from studying I spend my time being involved in JSoc, playing American Football and procrastinating.

Excited to get stuff done with the SJMA this year.

Yvette Jaffe

Hi I’m Yvette. I’m currently in my fourth year Medicine at Imperial.

Kings– Ella Davidson

Hi, I’m Ella and I’m your student ambassador at King’s. Around campus when I’m not in the library you can usually find me in the shed or, if you’re lucky, maybe even at the gym.

Aside from medicine I spend most of my time volunteering or working part time. I love reading, shopping and obviously working for the SJMA.

Really looking forward to this coming year with everyone and can’t wait to meet you all!!

Exeter – Tamir Sirkis

My name is Tamir Sirkis and I’m a 3rd year medical student at Exeter.

I volunteered for Magen David Adom over a summer in sixth form and would recommend the experience to anyone with an interest in healthcare

I am excited to be the Exeter SJMA ambassador in order to get more opportunities to engage in the jewish and medical communities, and to hopefully meet some fantastic personalities

Liverpool – Joe Massias

Hi I’m Joe.

I’ve spent the last two and a half years in Liverpool studying medicine, playing sport and chilling with friends.

I’m keen to offer help to any current or prospective student in any way I can.

Looking forward to seeing what this year holds for SJMA.

Work hard play hard!

Birmingham – Michael Tarsh

Hi I’m Michael and I’m currently in my second year of medicine at Birmingham, before which I was at Immanuel.

I spend a lot of my free time relaxing with my friends, cooking and helping out with JSOC events, and I’m looking forward to devoting as much of that free time as I can to the sJMA in Brum this year!

Rachel Valins
