UK Doctors in Israel
Anyone wishing to practice medicine in the State of Israel must obtain a license from the Ministry of Health (https://www.health.gov.il/English).
Licensing is administered by their Medical Professions Licensing Department.
There are several different pathways to follow for foreign graduates who wish to practice medicine in Israel.
Information about these pathways can be accessed as follows:
- Those who have graduated abroad but not completed an internship
- Those who have graduated abroad and practiced medicine abroad
- Those who have practiced medicine abroad for more than 14 years
- Those who have graduated from special curricula – New York, Tuoro and Nicosia
In addition it is also possible to get special, temporary or limited permits to practice medicine.
