As you all know, the last several months have been difficult ones for Israel and Jews around the world.

Anti-semitism is growing in general and in the health care field in particular. The discourse surrounding Israel focuses on conflict and negativity.

In order to provide a different perspective, the IMA together with the newly formed American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA) and Friends of the Israeli Heart Society are producing a webinar scheduled for May 28 2024 that will highlight the many positive aspects of medical care in Israel and around the world. The webinar will present a different side of the Arab-Israeli existence – the inspiring cooperation among Arab and Jewish physicians in Israel and the medical outreach from Israel to patients from neighboring areas and disaster sites.

We hope you can join us live or for a subsequent rebroadcast of the program. Most importantly, please help us recruit colleagues to attend. Many people are unaware of this aspect of the complicated reality in the Middle East, one which is a source of pride and inspiration for us as medical providers.
